Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman opened his first class in 1972 with just 18 pupils. Migdal Ohr now enrolls over 6,000 boys and girls in 15 high schools and elementary schools and seven daycare centers.

Migdal Ohr also provides needy and immigrant children with housing, schooling, medical and dental care, clothing, libraries, after school enrichment courses and vocational training.

Migdal Ohr’s motto is that with care, love and an equal opportunity for all, the children and youth can realize their full potential and soar to previously unthought-of heights.

Over the years, more than 15,000 students have completed their studies at Migdal Ohr.

Migdal Ohr’s dedicated staff is comprised of 80 percent of alumni, who are now hard at work to educate the next generation.
